Vince Livingston Appointed Director, Supply Chain
Management for Saxco-Demptos West Coast Operations

FAIRFIELD, CA., R.Vincent Livingston, CPIM, PMP has been appointed director, supply chain management for Saxco-Demptos’ West Coast operations, it was announced here today by Richard Bouwer, general manager.

Livingston will be directly responsible for purchasing, logistics, production planning and inventory control for the company, which is a principal supplier of bottles and other forms of packaging to the wine industry. Founded in 1982, the company does business with hundreds of wineries located on the West Coast.

Prior to this appointment, he was employed as director, supply chain for Nurserymen’s Exchange, Inc., Half Moon Bay, CA., director, program management Ryder Integrated Logistics, San Francisco, CA., and director, supply chain and director, customer service and inventory control for the Tri Valley Growers, San Ramon, CA. Before that, he was manager, efficient consumer response for Del Monte Foods in San Francisco, CA. and manager, customer service for Nabisco Brands, Winston-Salem, NC.
He is a graduate of Western Connecticut State University in Danbury, Connecticut where he received a bachelors of arts degree in mathematics. Also, he pursued graduate studies in mathematics and accounting at the same university.

In addition, Livingston has appeared as a presenter at numerous professional conferences sponsored by the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and the Institute for International Research.
He and his wife Bekki, have two children, a daughter, 11 and a son, 8 and reside in San Ramon, CA.
